Katrina Kaif is set to don a new avatar in her upcoming flick Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

Dressed as a bride, sitting on a horse and dancing her heart out, the actress was spotted by Headlines Today in the historical town of Uttar Pradesh as she was shooting for the Yash Raj Films' production. A major portion of the film is being shot in Agra.

Even though she was dressed as a bride, she preferred a ghodi (mare) over a doli (traditional carriage used to carry bride on shoulders) with her groom standing by her side.

Apparently, keeping up with her image in the movie, Katrina beat up a boy black and blue, though just for the cameras.

Along with Katrina, co-actors Imran Khan and Ali Zafar were also present during the shoot. Probably they were shooting the climax scene of the film where they were getting married in front of the Taj Mahal.

 News is that turned down Rakesh Roshan’s Krissh 3 offer to accommodate Yash Chopra’s next venture (untitled, still) in which she stars opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

However, Chopra and Roshan wished to go on floors with their respective films by October 2011.

A source says, “Katrina very much wanted to do Krrish 3. She loved the fact that she would be playing a negati ve role for the first time in her career.

The mutant’s role has several shades which Katrina wanted to toy with.”

Unluckily for the actress, her dates were already locked for Yash Chopra’s film by the time she was approached for the Hrithik Roshan starrer.

The Roshans then approached Chitrangda Singh for the mutant’s role. And she accepted the offer.
